About My
Journey
and Work

Your only real choice is between fear and trust. Your original source continues emitting signals of guidance and you can fall back on it in any moment, unfolding from within.

From early childhood on, I noticed that the words and actions of most people around me were not in alignment. Later, I realized that this was the "socialized" western way of life. Growing up under the lingering threat of the Cold War, with politically active parents in an increasingly materialistic neighbourhood, I was searching for models and ways of interaction that were truly fulfilling.

I was a bright and dreamy child, active in various types of dance performance, arts and singing in a professional choir. Early on, I started feeling the tension of this orientation towards outside expectations. In my teens, I suffered from anorexia and bulimia. This experience pointed me towards finding tools to bring my inner and outer world in accordance with each other. Among other resources, I found valuable support in the 12-Step-Program.

Being in touch with the psychosomatic approach of Anne Wilson Schaef, Rüdiger Dahlke, Louise Hay, Roberto Kaplan and others was an ongoing support for me. A big result was to achieve a major reduction in my shortsightedness. This knowledge seemed more "real" than my formal studies of English and Spanish Literature and more rewarding than the Scheffel-Price for Literature I had received.

The search went on, exploring the deep mystery of life. It led me to dive into various forms of relationships, travel extensively, eat organic food and give birth to my children in a natural process at home. It helped me discover the "new world" that I longed for through Rebeca and Mauricio Wild´s "non-directive" approach. I could fully explore this when working in an Active School, accompanying children in self-supported learning. Peter Levine's "Waking the Tiger" fully resonated with my worldview and the processes I observed, inside and around.

In 2003, I discovered the map of the Enneagram.  Studying, teaching and working with this tool continued to deepen my perception and understanding of the nature of life. This powerful wisdom mirror opened up a different perspective on the human experience, the struggles and potentials, and on the greater laws of the universe. Inspired by Eli Jaxon-Bear, A. H. Almaas, Sandra Maitri, I received training through the Leela School.

In 2011, my husband and I took a next step to live our life according to the Active Impulse of our Source: we moved to Portugal with our children, to provide the necessary space and prepared environment to meet all our different developmental needs. We now live in a peaceful valley that quietly teaches us to take full responsibility. Taking full responsibility for one's life (= being able to respond) brings us into direct contact with Source.

These manyfold experiences provide the basis from which I work today: being the mother of four free-learning (or grown-up) children and having further education in Non-Directive Attitude. Advanced training in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP, and Leela Therapy (being a “True Friend”) give me a set of unique skills to meet you where you are. Years of diving into the field of deep intimate relationships through studying, practicing and including it in my work with couples, Barry Long, D. & M. Richardson and Scott Peck provide me with ample tools to support you.

My latest expansion is joining Soulhub, a platform for deeper well-being, that brings together people from various walks of life that support your deeper connection with yourself on physical, emotional and mental levels.

Your only real choice is between "automatic", outwardly impulsed behaviour and following your original Source, unfolding from within.
